Audio Systems: 1999 Honda Civic factory CD player, homemade cd, stereo repair

A friend made me a homemade cd and the mailing label she put on it came off of it inside the cd player. Now, everytime I try to play a cd, I get the E-00 display. How can I safely get it out?

Unfortunately you will need to have someone that is experienced in car CD/stereo repair to take the unit apart to remove any paper that may be stuck inside. After removing the label from inside you should have the laser lense cleaned.
