Audio Systems: sony faceplate display, liquid crystal display, bill neville

Question
I believe I inadvertently damaged whatever illuminates the display on my Sony AM FM CD player. all of the other buttons light up  all except the display.If the bulb is burned out can it be replaced or do you have to replace the face plate and  where can you buy them ? it is a model CDX-L350.

   ok its an LCD *liquid crystal display* in most applications so there really is no repair you can do , you will need to call sony * the 800 number should be on the unit or in the manual you can also go to their website* call them tell them the problem and they might ask you to send the old unit in for repair or you can reorder a replacement faceplate that is about the only option aside from trashing the unit and buying back new which isnt as cost effiecent .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
