Audi Repair: a/c, freon, 8l

Question
Hi, I have a 1992 A4 2.8L AWD audi.  I have spent hours looking for the low side charge port to recharge the A/C
I can't finf it anywhere.  Can you help?

Normally the charge points are just in front of the firewall, but I have also seen these very close to the compressor, which of course is nicely tucked away under one side of the engine.  Since it is a 1992, this could be a freon system or may have been converted to 134a, but either way the charge points should be in the same place...  Let me know if you have found them,  Jan
