Audi Repair: A4 Electrical Problem, low beams, control fan

Left my '98 A4 at the airport for a few days.  When I came back the low beams, wipers, turn signals, and climate control fan don't work.  Everything else is fine.  What is the likely cause?  Thanks.

Sounds like the load reduction relay is faulty.  It stops current to all the accessories you mentiuon durinf starting, and is supposed to re-enable it when the car has started.  Sounds like the relay is not making good contact anymore.  Let me know what you find,  Jan
