Audi Repair: help!, reverse light switch, crackling noise

I took my car to an Audi dealership to have numerous things fixed, one thing being a brake light that was out. I soon noticed a crackling noise coming from the fuse box. All of the fuses seem to be fine, however, I realized that my reverse lights are always illuminated while driving after being pulled over by a police officer who brought it to my attention! Also, yesterday, I started driving my car and now the warning dinging sound is always dinging even though all the doors are closed. Any ideas?

I do not think these issues are all related.   The door dinging is probably a bad switch or a shorted wire in one of the doors; typically the driver's door.  The reverse light switch is in the transmission; but again this could be the switch or a wire fault.  I would be able to help more if I knew which car it was...  First stop should be the dealership and ask them what they did.
