Audi Repair: a4 97 big leaking!!, splash shield, container size

QUESTION: my a4 97 has a notorius leak under the engine, but the thing is I checked the engine oil and its normal, what can it be? oh it has a manual transmission and a v6 2.8

ANSWER: Best way to find out is to remove the splash shield and have a look.  You need to leak a lot of oil for the level to go down noticeably...  Jan

QUESTION: HOW DO I CHECH THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND HOW ADD MORE IF ITS NECESARY, WHAT KIND OF FLUID?

The transmission fluid is VW-ATF. ATF is available as a replacement part (is also referred to as VW ATF).
Container size 0.5 L -part number G 052 162 A1 from audi dealer.  But you need to find the cause of the leak, before more serious damage occurs.  Let me know,  Jan
