Hi Jan,

I've got oil leaking from my rear axle/differential.  I was wondering if you could give me any tips on topping off the oil right away as I cannot get it fixed for a month or so.  Is it easy to do?  What kind of oil should I use?  Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks,

For the 1992 -2004 Audis, the quattro rear differential gear oil is listed as the G 052 145 A2 for the 1.0 liter bottle, G 052 145 A1 for the 0.5 liter bottle.  It is probably worth changing all the fluid if it has not been done.
