Audi Repair: wont start, coolant temp, audi a4

Question
Hi .My Audi A4 2.6 V6 stops & wont start. It turns over 7 has spark & then u can smell petrol. Eventually starts roughly & then after another few days does the same. Have replaced fuel pump,fuel filter,hall sender,ignition switch.

hello
if there is no faults in the ECM , I will replace coolant temp sensor. Sometimes, the ECT sensor goes bad and shows
-40  deg. So , the ECM open the injectors and floods the cylinders and spark. If you crank. for long time, but runs roughly.
