Hello My passenger side airbag deployed today. It ripped a big hole in the dash
Can this be repaired   is it huglely expensive
the car is a 1999 vovlo S80   but I love the car and want to have it repaired

Airbag systems are VERY expensive to repair.  I'm sorry to say, that when the passenger airbag deploys on that vehicle, the dashboard along with MANY other components are required to be replaced in order to restore the system properly and back to functional operation.  Without any of these items, the airbag light will remain on and NONE of the system will work if you have a subsequent accident.
