QuestionIs it possible just to disconnect the auto level control instead of checking for the leak and replacing it in my 1990 cadillac coupe deville?
AnswerProblem is if you do that, the rear will end up squatting with the loss of air in the shocks. You will see old Caddys and especially Lincoln Town cars as low riders only in the rear.
Just disconnect compressor for the night and see what you have. There could be additional items on that circuit, but without the factory manual, you do not know what to disconnect.
An example would be the dome light. That circuit also feeds the radio memory, the cigarette lighter, glove box and trunk light.
