Can I use right side window switch on the driver side to get my window up

In most cases the switches are not interchangable. How do you know it is the driver's side switch that is the problem? Possibly a bad motor? A different switch will not help you then. If you look at rockauto.com and other places on the web, you will find that power window switches are commonly under $20.00 if that is the problem.
