QuestionRob - I am also rebuilding my 61 Caddy Perfect Circle CC Module. Did you ever find a tool to remove the specialty bolts? The are actually 8 point bolts - never seen anything like them before. Thanks for the help.

What is funny is that I still remember the unit when I worked on them in the early 70s (oh I am giving away my age). I remember the screws and the tool, but have not seen the tool since the Olds dealer still stocked in 1973 to 1976.
The only thing I can tell you is check with other GM old car clubs. They used these units as an option on all GMs, not just Cadillac.
Have you checked ebay?
I am sure you have done some of these things, and I am sure you will not have an easy time.
I just sold my tool box last month and I had specialty tools dating back to the 50s that I got from my dad together with my 70s tools and newer.
You might find someone on craigs list that has the socket as well.
