QuestionOk I browsed for an answer but couldnt find one. So my car will not start when i turn the key it hums then clicks and then does nothing, everything seems to operate normally, but it wont start, unless SOMETIMES if i jump it or turn the harmonic balancer..
I have come to a conclusion that it could be a faulty ign switch?
or a bad starter?
but also my check oil light is so maybe something to do with that?
i know the car needs an oil change but that should be regardless to its starting and running capabilities
AnswerHello,
Your assumption of a faulty ignition switch is incorrect.
Your problem is either abad starter drawing to many amps, a wiring connection between the starter and the battery or a bad battery.
As for your oil light, since I am not at the car, could be on becauae oil is low, low oil pressure.
