Cadillac Repair: torque converter, torque converter clutch, torque converter clutch solenoid

I currently own a 2001 cadillac seville sts. The service engine light is on and I was told that it was my torque converter. I'am trying to find out how much it cost to get repaired or do I need to get my transmission rebuilt.

Did they tell you that it was your TORQUE CONVERTER or did they tell you it was your TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID ?.
