Cadillac Repair: help, loose particles, cadillac deville

i have a 90 cadillac deville and it doesnt have no power no more it wont go up hills and i think the cadillac converter is plug

That is a very strong possibility. You can try hitting it with a suitable instrument and listen for loose particles rattling around inside and or have a BACK PRESSURE test performed on it by a local garage.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated on the dash while driving the vehicle ?.
