Cadillac Repair: 96 deville base 4.6 a/c evaporator removal, test procedures, e mail

how do you remove this item? had new compressor installed and charged and was told that the evaporator was bad cost  150 for evaporator 70 for recharge 600 for installation. so you see why i would like to change this.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
