ive heard that you need to reprogram something when you replace the ignition switch on a 1998 sevile sls what and how

Answer
Take your original key to any locksmith along with your new key that came with the new lock cylinder and they will provide you with a new key that has the same resistance as your old key and they will cut this new key to the grooves of the key that you got with the new lock cylinder.

Use this newly cut key ONLY.
