Cadillac Repair: 99 dville, starter relay, lock cylinder

at times my dash reads, Car may not restart , I'll try then the dash tells me wait 3 min. whats the problem, how could i resolve this ?

You have a problem with the PASS-KEY security system.

Fault can be either the:

ignition key.
ignition lock cylinder on the steering column.
wire in the steering column.
PASS-KEY module.
Starter relay.

You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
