Cadillac Repair: 1993 Cadillac DeVille-cooling fans malfunction, check fuse, electrical schematics

Have 1993 DeVille. Both fan motors that cool the 4.9 engine,only work when air conditioner or heater are in use. When both are turn off,both fans turn off,too. This problem has just started. Fan sensor on top of the motor on passenger side was replaced,to no avail. Thanks,for any info. Barry

Check Fuse #6 in the instrument panel fuse box under the dash for battery voltage with the ignition switch in the ON position.

Check fuse # 4 in the left side under hood fuse block for battery voltage at all times.
