Cadillac Repair: automatic trans ,on takeoff, shift point, pressure tests

My 1984 coupDevile has 60,000 original miles.I recently had trany serviced and now on takeoff it seems to be in second gear. Runs good after shift point is reached.

try shifting it into 1st gear and when you reach 20 miles per hour shift it up to drive and see if it clears up. try this several times.

If you had the transmission serviced because you initially had this problem, Pressure tests must be perfromed on the trans.
