Cadillac Repair: Re., port fuel injection, camshaft sensor

I have a 1990 Cadillac deville it has the 4.5 port fuel injection.. It's coming up with a code 41 which is EST i do not have a camshaft sensor what is EST??

EST = Electronic Spark Timing.

Your cam sensor is located IN the distributor. It was initially referred to as a HALL-EFFECT SWITCH.
