Questioni have a few questions about a car i bought just 2 days ago...
What would these lights mean:traction control, service ride control, ABS brakes, Service Emission system??
My car overheated [due to what i believe was low coolant] about 8 hours after an oil change and now it reads that the oil needs to be changed AGAIN? It wont reset, should i change the oil again?
and since it has over heated, i have been watching the coolant temp. It was running about 192-210 the night it overheated after i added water until i get the radiator flushed and refilled. Now today,a warm Florida day, it was running as hot as 230...But it came down and didnt overheat. but i was only making a short trip. if i get the fluid flushed and refilled, should that take car of that?
AnswerFirst answer: IS or HAS the check engine light ever illuminated on the dash and if it hAS what codes are you getting ?.
Second answer: Just try resetting the oil index on the dash.
Third answer: temp is OK. Just get it flushed and get the correct coolant water mixture in the engine.
