Cadillac Repair: 92 caddy heatercore replacement, drain coolant, heatercore

I have a 92 sedan deville 4.9 Im getting warm air out of pass side of defroster and cold air out of driver side. I changed themastat and flushed core a couple of times Both hoses seem hot from core I was told to replace core Is this the case and if so how hard is it and ware do i start

The core is relatively easy to do. Drain coolant at least half way down, then disconnect the hoses from the heater core, remove glovebox and lower sound insulator panel. Disconnect and remove programmer, then remove heater core cover and finally the core itself.
