Cadillac Repair: Check Engine Light On, camshaft sensor, answer need

QUESTION: I have a check engine light on. The error codes that I saw were E41,E52,E98. When I rev the engine the light goes off until it settles back to idle then it goes on again.

ANSWER: Need YEAR-MODEL-ENGINE SIZE of vehicle.

E41 = Open camshaft sensor circuit.
E52 = Battery was disconnected in the recent past.
E98 = High RPM when shifting from PARK to DRIVE during IDLE SPEED CONTROL ACTION.

You need to fix the E41 FIRST, then CLEAR the codes from the computer and see which codes return.
