Cadillac Repair: 96 Cadillac deville blower motor, rear defogger, diagnostic scanner

When i press the auto button on my AC unit it automatically  goes to recirculation. The rear defogger does not work either. Is my blower motor bad?

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light on the dash ever illuminated while driving the vehicle ?.

Has there been any MESSAGES displayed on the drivers information center ?.

most likely you have a faulty AC PROGRAMMER that needs to be tested via a diagnostic scanner.
