I replaced the altinator and the stearing colum and when i try to start the car it says unable to start do to theft system. Do I have to restart the theft system, if so how? If not what do I do.

Each key has a small resistance chip on it and there are numerous different resistance values for each key. The resistance value in the key must match the resistance value in the PASS-KEY module or the vehicle will NOT start.

You will need to obtain the resistance value using an OHM meter from your original key and obtain a key with the EXACT resistance value and have the key cut to match the grooves in the key. See your dealer or a locksmith.
