Cadillac Repair: 89 Eldorado air conditioning kicking off, vacuum pump, orifice tube

QUESTION: My 89 Eldorado is having a problem with the air conditioning kicking on and off.  I have had the system charged and the compressor checked and the problem seems to be in the climate control.  AC blows cool for 10-15 minutes then blows warm air for 2-3 minutes before going back to cool.  thanks for any help you can provide!

ANSWER: Did they use a VACUUM PUMP to remove ALL the atmospheric air from the AC system BEFORE they recharged the system >?.

QUESTION: They are telling me they did.  This was also happening before I had the system recharged.

You will need to put a set of AC gages on the system to monitor the pressures to see that they are within specifications.

Could be a clogged orifice tube of which would produce a higher than normal high side pressure thus shutting down the compressor.
