QuestionWE pass htis car everyday on the way home at a dealer , I called becasue my husband really likes it and was told they were selling it for $3500 , cash only as it had the check engine light on and wouldn't pass emmissions test in our county with the light on , they sat the codes showed the O2 sensor and the selenoid and they were not into fixing casr there just saling them so they didn';t want to mess with it , what are you thoughts , is it to good to be true ? Nice enough car from what I can tell from the street , does have 120,000 miles on it .
AnswerI need to know what the CODE #'s are. Most likely it has an internal transmission sensor or solenoid fault that will require removal of the transmission to fix it.
Without knowing what the codes are, I can't be sure what is wrong.
I would PASS on this purchase.
