Cadillac Repair: Cadillac wont start, cadillac sedan deville, number combinations

I have a 1996 cadillac sedan deville, when I try to start it up is reads: Starting disable due to theft system remove ignition key, then it says wait 3 minutes and start ignition. I wait the three minutes but it still doesn't start. What can I do?

You need to get the computer diagnostic codes via:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER(^) buttons on the climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. On the other screen you will see the codes displaying as LETTER/NUMBER combinations with the word HISTORY or CURRENT displayed with each code.

4. The display will stop at PCM.

5. Write down the codes and if HISTORY or CURRENT and let me know what they are.

6. Turn OFF ignition.
