1996 cadillac deville 4.6 northstar.
Tom, how do I clear out the service transmission code PO741 TCC.  The tranny seems to run fine and I have had it checked out. Thanks

Answer
Re-enter into diagnostics and after the code displays you will see PCM.

2. Push and release the HI (^) button and you will see DATA

3. Continue pushing and releasing the LO (v) button until you see CLEAR CODES.

4. Push and release the HI (^) button and you will see CODES CLEAR.

5. Wait 3 seconds and turn OFF the ignition.

This will clear the code from the computer.

Drive the car and see if the code returns.
