Cadillac Repair: Head Gaskets, blown head gasket, head gaskets

I've recently purchased a 92 Seville with a blown head gasket.  It has a 4.9 engine.  Now my question...What will be the best route to fixing this problem? Should I just fix the heads or buy another engine (really cant afford to do so)?  I'm asking because this because I have heard that with this engine the problem is not worth fixing

Depending upon the mileage is how I would determine what to do. If your under 100,000 miles and the rest of the car works and it still looks and runs OK, I would consider putting head gaskets in it and have the heads checked.

Over 100,000 miles i would put a used engine in it and sell it.
