Cadillac Repair: heater core, seal tabs, cable drain

i have a 95 cadillac deville 4.9 engine,how to remove and install heater core

Hi Carl,

     There really isn't much to it.
  
    Remove the neg. battery cable
    Drain the antifreeze into a clean container to reuse
    remove the 2 heater core hoses
    remove the glovebox
    remove the lower sound insulator panel below the RH dash
    remove the programmer
    disconnect the body computor module and remove
    remove the relay panel from the heater core cover
    remove the cover on the RH end
    remove the core attaching straps and remove the core

    Then reverse the procedure to reinstall. If flushing the cooling system install 6 seal tabs after crushing them up. If just draining and installing new then 2 seal tabs. And if reuseing the original coolant then don't add any.
