Cadillac Repair: windshield wipers, cadillac eldorado, wiper switch

sorry about that last little message if you didn't understand it. what i said was that it didn't work. i changed the wiper fuse and my wipers still don't work. do you know what else could be the problem?

HEY!! i have a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado. i just put another alternator in it and ever since my wipers don't come on. they never came on when i used the wiper switch, i always had to hold down the wiper fluid button and that would always do the trick. i just need to know which fuse i change for the wipers. thank you!!

GA-TRANS FUSE  (20 amp)


Also check the WIPER fuse.

Could be the wiper switch or the wiper motor. Give the wiper motor a hit with your fist and see if it works. If NOT, I can provide you with diagnostic pictures and test procedures for you to do to find and fix the problem. e-mail me at: [email protected]
