Cadillac Repair: Deville Power Window Motor, ytou, radio shack

Can you please tell me how to bench test a 1999 Deville Power Window Motor.

Never heard the term bench test, but i think you meen check the operation, get a multimeter $10 at wal mart, or a good one runs $40-60 at radio shack, these are very useful. Hook the red to the + terminal and - to the black post, hit the switch up and down and read the volts, then ohms, write these down and let me know what they are.
