Cadillac Repair: 1994 caddilac deville, chip resistance, sill plate

When i try to start my car the lights come on the radio plays, but it does not start or make a sound. The when u switch it off it says wait 3 minutes and it counts down and then says start car, the informational display reads starting disabled due to theft system.

You have a fault with either the:

Ignition key chip on the key.

ignition lock cylinder in the column where the key inserts.

wiring in the steering column.

Pass-key module that reads the ignition key chip resistance.

Internal pass-key module in the trunk.

starter enable relay under the aluminum door sill plate on drivers side.

Requires special test equipment by dealer.
