QuestionRecently brought to mechanic, and he changed the plugs/tune up. Intermitant start problem persists.
Starts cold fine. After driving and parked warm, no ignition occasionaly. Fuel pump making noise so I don't think its the fuel pump.
Change the O2 sensor next?
AnswerPut a fuel pump pressure gage on the fuel line and make sure the pressure is 10 psi.
The mid-80's Cadillac's were prone to:
1. Ignition module failure.
2. Ignition coil failure.
3. Pickup coil failure.
