Cadillac Repair: trouble codes E91 and E39, cadillac deville, shift indicator

I have the 93 cadillac deville and those codes came up right after a transmission replace. What are these codes and what do they mean is happening?

Was E39 the FIRST number to appear followed by E91 ?.

Did you try and CLEAR these 2 codes from the computer to see if they came back ?. If NOT, Do so.

E39 = VCC engagement problem (transmission related).

E91 = PRNDL switch problem ( most likely a miss- adjusted shift indicator switch when the trans was re-installed).
