HI, TOM I HAD A CODE E53 MY MECHANIC REPLACED THE DISTRIBUTER BUT KNOW I HAVE A CODE E23. THEY COULDNOT FIX, WHAT DO YOU THINK? THANKS RICK

Try CLEARING the code from the computer and see what codes come back.

Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them.

3. diagnostic codes will display as example: E45 E48 E56 EE45 EE48.

4. I want to know what the numbers are when the EE displays.

5. The F codes will display in the same manner. I want the codes after the FF.

6. When the codes stop displaying you will see .7.0

7. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons until you see E.0.0 and release the buttons.

8. You will see .7.0 reappear.

9. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and LO buttons until you see F.0.0 and release the buttons.

10.You will see .7.0 reappear.


11. turn OFF the key.


12. re-enter into diagnostics and see what codes reappear.
