Cadillac Repair: ECM Location, cadillac seville, northstar engine

Hi Bill,

I believe that we have a bad ECM in our 1996 Cadillac Seville, but I cannot find any information as to the location of this unit. I want to get the parts info off of the unit.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Steve, After thinking about it overnight the other place they put the ECM especially if you have the northstar engine is in a plastic holder below the air filter box and behind the LH headlamp. I would go there first and remove the air filter and housing assembly and along side it or below it will be the ECM. Bill
