Hi, i just replaced the rear struts in my 1993 cadillac seville. My mechanic replaces them with an aftermarket problem, and totally bi-passed the original air ride system. The display still reads "service ride control", and is displaying code "IO39 Current". I want to know how to override this code so it doesn't get tripped and the "service Ride Control" message goes away.

I do NOT disable systems that are put on a vehicle for a reason as I do NOT want any type of liability should an incident occur due to the disablement of this system.

Your mechanic is taking quite a chance at being sued if an accident happens due to improper correct repair procedures.
