Hi i  need some help on what controls the cooling fan? what tells the cooling fan to come on.
And how do you test relays to know if they are good or bad?

I just answered this same type question not 5 minutes ago.

the most common cause is the POWER MODULE for the blower fan.

Answer -
Are you referring to the electric fans that cool down the radiator OR the blower fan for your heater and A/C ?.

The most common faulty component that fails when the fans quit is the FAN CONTROL MODULE.
