Cadillac Repair: 2001 Seville SLS, seville sls, cadillac dealer

Question
All of a sudden my steering wheel won't telescope
with the key, button or manually.  The drivers seat will go up & back for exit and for driver #1 and# 2 wirh key and button,  but will not manually.  Checked fuses under back seat - all good.  Cadillac thinks may be onboard computer
but needs to check it out.  what do you think would be the probable cause and the fix?

 It is the memory seat module that is having what is called a logic lockup,the only way to fix this is to have the memory seat module reprogramed,there is also a bulliten for this complaint,Cadillac dealer is the only way to reprogram the module.or to replace it.
