Cadillac Repair: starter, auto parts store, starter problem

   93 cadillac. new battery in place and keeps
   going dead.(after 3 charges.)will not turn
   over.is this the starer?

Could be corrosion built up under the battery terminal ends.

Could be corrosion within the battery cable(s).

Could be a starter problem. Take the starter OFF the vehicle and hand carry it into any large auto parts store and they will test it for FREE.

Could be that you have a fault in your electrical charging system.

could be that you have a fault in the electrical system whereas something is draining the battery overnight.

maximum battery amperage draw when the vehicle is sitting overnight with everything OFF is .50 amp (1/2 amp).
