Cadillac Repair: engine cooling fan, cadillac eldorado, wire connections

Question
On a 1992 V8 4.9L Cadillac Eldorado, what will make the Engine Cooling Fan stop working, and can I change the parts my self.

faulty electric fan motor.

faulty coolant sensor.

faulty temperature sensor

faulty FAN CONTROL MODULE.

faulty fan control relay.

faulty computer.

faulty wire connections.


What work of ANY KIND has been done to this vehicle prior to this problem ?.
