Cadillac Repair: Windshield Foggy Issue, cadillac eldorado, core leak

Question
When I turn on the a/c, it blows cool, then the windshield fogs up.  I also notice a slight anti-freeze smell.  I do not see anything spilling, nor do I have any reduce speed in my 1983 Cadillac Eldorado.  Any suggestions?

Hi T.Fuller, You are experrianceing the start of a heater core leak. Where it is located if it leaks bad enough you will get antifreeze on the ground the same spot where the water is with the a/c on. If that drain were plugged then it would start to drip on the floor inside the RF feet area. Schedule an appointment to have the core replaced or do it yourself before it gets worse. Bill
