Chevrolet Repair: need a wet suit

96 chevy 1/2 ton extended cab, v6, auto. when it rains it leaks water around the heater motor, this is not antifreeze.

On a dry summer day ,have a friend run water, just a trickle,into suspect areas at base of wind shield. Better yet seal  windshield with GE silicone ..There are several areas that could be leaking.Process of elimination. I have not come across this problem,so if you would like to get an answer from someone who knows exactly your experience try again, and hopefully you will get an answer from just one of those guys.
