Chevrolet Repair: 1996 chevy tahoe rearview mirror, chevy tahoe, junk yard

The bottom half of my rearview mirror has gone dark on my 1996 chevy tahoe. What would cause that? Is it a fuse?

HI JOY, EVERYTIME THAT OUR SHOP RUNS INTO THIS IT IS THE PRINTED CIRCUIT IN THE MIRROR ITSELF..
IF IT WERE A FUSE THERE WOULD BE OTHER CIRCUITS THAT WOULD NOT BE WORKING AS WELL.. TO CORRECT THIS A NEW MIRROR WILL BE NEEDED..WE USUALLY HIT THE BONE YARDS [JUNK YARD]  FOR A USED MIRROR. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU,,,,TOM...
