QUESTION: Hi Tom,
To get to the knock sensor what all has to be removed?
Thanks, Chuck
AnswerHI CHUCK,THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THE IGNITION WIRES FROM THE DIST CAP GO OVER IT,AND I THINK THERE MAYBE THE FUEL LINES THAT RUN ON TOP OF IT AS WELL.BUT NOT CLOSE TO IT OVER TOP SIDE. [IT IS DO-ABLE] I THINK THE LAST ONE I DID I MIGHT OF REACHED IT FROM UNDER THE TRUCK OR THROUGH THE WHEEL WELL AREA.I FORGOT SORRY !! KEEP IN MIND IT IS ON THE [BLOCK NOT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.] AGAIN DRIVERS SIDE. I WOULD SUGGEST PICKING ONE UP AND THAT WAY YOU WILL KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE AND THE SIZE OF SCOKET OR WRENCH YOU WILL NEED. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU,,TOM..
