How easy/hard would it be to fit a 454 or 502 Chevy big block engine into a 1983 Chevy Caprice Classic?

Hi,

 It would fit but would require some work to shift the mounts and depending on what transmission you have you will be changed and rad hoses, electrical etc.  There are online references on swapping them.  YOu might consider a performace small block though as they are much lighter, can produce plenty of power and are more plentiful.  Add that to the price of gas and the 350 is a direct fit.
