fuel gauge is pinned past full, low fuel light is on, tank has plenty of fuel. Any ideas on how to correct this situation...

Hi,

  Those vehicles get corroded sending unit coils in the tank from sitting off season.  Do you fill it with fuel when you store it?  The first thing to do is put a fuel friendly detergent in the tank to clean off any gum or varnish that may have collected on the sending unit.
